Eligibility for Admission
- Those who have completed all of the corresponding education courses in Elementary, Middle School, High School(12years) either in or outside of Korea (foreign school)
- Marriage immigrants with naturalization (multi-national exclusion)
- Foreigners or married migrants applicants must meet one or more of the following language proficiency
- Korean Language Proficiency (TOPIK) level 3 or higher
- Completed level 4 of Korean Language Course in Shinhan University Korean Language Center (after admission, classes take more than 120 hours)
*(However, for students who transferred to our Language Center must have take at least six months (or more) of study) - Those who passed the entrance exam in our Language Center

After admission, you must obtain TOPIK level 4 until you graduate
In other countries that has an academic system of less than 12 years, for those who have completed the primary, middle and high school course will be recognize the academic background equivalent to those high school in Korea (Article 98, Paragraph 1, Article 9 of the Enforcement Decree of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act) However, it excludes higher education courses that have been mixed elementary, middle and high school in the respective countries and foreign countries (including Korea)

Important notes regarding required documents
- Make sure that a signature affixed to each form and document(s)
- Any additional document(s) may be demanded if needed, according to the applicant’s country and qualifications.
- Identification Guarantee and Annual income tax payment certificate may be required in the case of identifying the guarantee of residents in Korea
- If the admission and tuition fees paid not under the name of the Applicant’s, she/he must inform the Office of International Affairs
- Students who submitted a Graduation Certificate temporarily must send the original Graduation Certificate/Diploma after his/her graduation

Admission Refund
- Once the registration for admissions completed, it cannot be canceled to make sure fairness of the university entrance exam and to decrease damages to other examines, the admission fee is not refundable. However, if the applicants do not qualify based on the exam qualifications, he/she will be partly refunded only (KRW 50,000)
- If the applicant is unable to take the exam due to unavoidable reasons and not the applicant’s fault, send the documentation proof for approval and refund.
- Natural disasters, illness, change the date of admission, and non-existent support qualifications are acceptable reasons for refund
- Other personal matters are not acceptable
- The school will reimburse proportional to the admission fee paid to those who have passed the entrance exam by April 30, 2019, if the balance of income and expenditure related to the admission process occurs after completing the admission process under by Article 34-4 Paragraph 5 of the Higher Education Act
- Refund method : Choose either by direct financial institution account transfer or visit the school personally
- When the applicant chooses a financial institution account transfer, the amount to be reimburse is deducted from the cost of using the financial institution’s computer network, if the cost of using the financial institution’s computer network is more than the amount to be reimburse, it will not refunded.
